Owner
Ninette Butler, RMR, CRR, CRC, RSA, FPR-C
Ninette has been a stenographer since 1994. She started her career as a ProCAT representative and software trainer. She has been a freelance reporter, specializing in realtime and daily copy in civil trials and depositions. Ninette has had the privilege of speaking at both the state and national association conventions. She developed and managed the captioning program for the hard-of-hearing ministry at First Baptist Orlando for 10 years. In 2024, she launched her own court reporting firm, Butler Reporting.
Ninette is currently the Vice President of the Florida Court Reporters Association. She has previously held the offices of Treasurer, Secretary, State Director, and Director at Large. She has served as chairman of the Pro Bono Committee and has been a member of the Professional Ethics, Schools, Government Relations, and Social Media/Technology committees.
Ninette is happily married to Kevin Butler and has proudly raised two kids, Noah and Bellamy. She loves her two dogs -- Major, a Hungarian Vizsla; and Duchess, a German Shorthaired Pointer -- and three cats. She enjoys escaping to Park City, Utah, for some outdoor fun and much-needed rest and relaxation.
Director of operations
Amanda Brown
Amanda began her career in the court reporting industry in 2007 and quickly found her stride as a scheduler. With a strong drive and a natural talent for technology, she rapidly became an integral part of improving company workflows and streamlining operations. As Director of Operations at Butler Reporting, Amanda brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience, a deep understanding of the industry, and a passion for efficiency. Her self-motivation and innovative approach help ensure that both clients and team members receive the highest level of support and service.
Fun fact: Amanda has been married to her high school sweetheart since 2006. When she’s not keeping things running smoothly at Butler, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and beekeeping—usually with her four beloved dogs by her side.

Karen Davis-Diaz
Karen Davis-Diaz began her career in the court reporting field in 2007, starting in scheduling and quickly rising to the role of scheduling manager. Over the past 18 years, her passion for client engagement led her to transition into client services, where she’s thrived in a variety of roles—each one focused on delivering exceptional support and building lasting relationships. Known for her approachable nature and dedication to client satisfaction, Karen finds genuine joy in helping others navigate their needs with confidence and care.
Originally born in the charming coastal town of Biarritz, France, Karen speaks French fluently. She moved to Asheville, North Carolina, at the age of three and currently resides in Orlando. She’s been happily married to Cesar Diaz for over a decade and is a proud mom to three sons: Preston (25), Austin (22), and Xavier (9). Outside of work, Karen loves diving into a good book, relaxing poolside or at the beach, and exploring new destinations whenever she gets the chance.
Client Service Coordinator
Kierra Montgomery
Kierra, born and raised in Grand Bahama, Bahamas, came to the U.S. in 2009 to pursue a career in stenography. In 2016, she transitioned to the administrative side of court reporting as a scheduler and steadily advanced to calendar coordinator and eventually department lead.
Now serving as the Client Service Coordinator at Butler Reporting, Kierra brings over a decade of industry experience, a wide network of connections, and in-depth knowledge of the court reporting process. She is known for her commitment to client satisfaction, her ability to manage requests with precision, and her dedication to building strong relationships with both clients and resources.
Outside of work, Kierra enjoys life with her husband of 15 years and their child. She loves relaxing at home with a good book or a Hallmark Christmas movie, but gleefully heads out for travel, church, or fun-filled days at Disney and Universal Studios.
Creative Director
Bellamy Long
Bellamy is a multi-talented creative director who oversees the design, production, and planning of all Butler company merchandise. As head of the printing department, she is responsible for creating graphics and ensuring that all merchandise is produced to the Butler standard. In addition to her creative role, Bellamy also acts as an event planner and caterer, overseeing every aspect of events from conception to execution. She is known for her attention to detail and ability to bring ideas to life.
Bellamy lives in Orlando, Florida, with her partner Max and their faithful companion, Winston, a large and friendly dog. They all enjoy weekend road trips to the dog-friendly beach.
Production/Billing coordinator
Max Richter
Max Richter started his journey in the court reporting world as a scopist and found an immediate love for the industry. His experience as a scopist continues to inform his work as Coordinator of Production and Billing. He plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards clients have come to expect from Butler Reporting. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence help ensure that each client receives polished, timely, and reliable transcripts.
Max is a huge nature lover whose favorite pastime is watching the Florida showers roll in with his partner, Bellamy. He is also the proud dad of many animals, and he loves taking them out for adventures on the weekend.
